OPM - Heaven is a Half-pipe

Hi boys and girlies, I'm Edward aka "The Great and Magically Bored Asian Kid". I am the founder of this site and also one of the authors of this project. I will probably reviewing songs based of tune and lyrics and how much I like its direction. Yes that means you will not see Hannah Montana on my playlist unless she writes something that can make me cry. So here goes.

Today I shall review OPM's Heaven is a Half-pipe

Yes, I do know that heaven isn't just pearly gates since I listen to this song and know that only skaters go to heaven...I wish. Anyways that's beside the point. This song was released in 2001 when there was a new generation of skaters since most of my friends who are skating aggressively started at that time but quit shortly after. The lyrics talk about finding religion in what you do and how your actions on earth affect your way into heaven and also giving it to "The Man". Its an overall great song with a catchy tune which caught the attention of a 10 year old me. I even felt the lyrics connected with me no matter how weird it seemed at that time. However it has stuck with me for so many years and trust me to this day you can still find this song on my playlist. For this I give this song a 8/10 because no song is perfect and I can't think about enough good for this song to give it full marks. This has been a review with Edward and have a nice day. I'll be here all eternity *wink*.
This is Edward signing off
Ciao
